The Workscape Trifecta

odern Transportation is a wonderful example of the benefits of partnering with the project architect and client from the conceptual phase of a project.

“This project was a perfect collaboration between architect, client and the Workscape team,” says Workscape Vice President, Kate Herrera. “We partnered with Desmone Architects as Modern Transportation was beginning construction on their new HQ. Our teams worked together to seamlessly coordinate finishes, furniture, sound masking and DIRTT walls. The result is a truly beautiful and functional space for Modern Transportation where they beautifully showcase their expertise and culture.”

The Workscape trifecta – sound masking solutions, DIRTT and furniture – were all utilized to give Modern Transportation an office space that is both effective and visually stunning. Glass DIRTT walls with black powder coat trim give the space a modern feel while allowing the building’s abundant natural light to shine through to the conference and huddle rooms. Sound masking, although discreet, was installed throughout the space to minimize sound distractions and increase employee efficiency. Generation chairs in Modern Transportation’s red provide a nice pop of color against the more subtle workstations and private offices.

Connecting early in the process turned out to be a benefit for everyone involved. “We really enjoyed working with Workscape from beginning to end,” said Modern Transportation Executive Assistant, Morgan Uhler. “We were able to work collaboratively with their team to bring our vision for our new office space to life.”
