very successful project tells a story, and often times, the best ones are about collaboration and perseverance.
When Coterra Energy set out to create their new Pittsburgh offices, they envisioned a space that reflected their forward-thinking culture and commitment to innovation. To bring that vision to life, Workscape partnered with Burns Scalo Real Estate to deliver a dynamic, efficient workspace using the DIRTT construction system. The result is a beautiful example of how flexible interiors can meet high expectations while maintaining speed, precision, and design integrity.
“This was our first time working with the DIRTT system on a larger-scale project, and our client had high expectations that we needed to meet,” said Chris Pogue-Geile, Director of Construction at Burns Scalo. “I’ll be transparent and say that we did have a bit of a rough start to kicking off the project, but once the team was onsite and worked through the shop drawings, the crew was great to work with and did a great job on the installation. The product looks perfect in the space, and the tenant was very impressed, as this was their first time seeing this style of system. I heard a good quote once that said, ‘It’s never how you start but how you finish,’ and this was a perfect example of it.”
From the beginning, we collaborated closely with Burns Scalo to ensure every detail, from the wall systems met both the technical and aesthetic goals of the client. Our team’s hands-on approach and knowledge of the DIRTT system helped streamline communication and keep the project moving.
Now complete, Coterra Energy’s offices showcase the power of precision-built interiors. The finished space features sleek glass walls and custom finishes, all designed to support collaboration and productivity. The result is a workplace that not only reflects Coterra’s brand but also demonstrates how DIRTT’s modular construction can adapt to evolving business needs.
For Workscape and Construkt, this project represents more than a successful installation and it highlights what’s possible when strong partnerships and innovative construction come together.
